I was recently surfing the web and I downloaded a video that had a Trojan attached to it and I didn’t know it until my Firefox web browser was repeatedly hijacked to go to the rogue antivirus website over and over, I tried using Cloud Panda Antivirus, Spyware Terminator and Spybot Search and Destroy but none of these ever got it completely off. I was looking for reviews on YouTube about good Antivirus and Antispyware software when I saw a review for Windows Security Essentials, the review said it was very good and I decided to download and install it because it’s a free software program.
I installed the Windows Security Essentials and I updated it and then ran a full scan of my computer. This program found four Trojan viruses that none of the other free antivirus and antispyware could find when I ran scans on my computer with them. I had it automatically delete the files and my computer has been running smoothly ever since, I’ve just started using the software but I know it works better than the others because I’ve been using Spyware Terminator and Spybot Search and Destroy for years and they couldn’t find these problems that Microsoft Security Essentials found in one scan. This program is one of the best free antivirus/antispyware programs I have ever used and it worked perfectly on my laptop. I installed this on my old Windows XP desktop that’s been running slow for years and didn’t find anything on that one but I’m very relieved that it fixed my laptop computer.
I highly recommend this program, it’s better than Spyware Terminator, Panda Cloud Antivurs and AVG Free Antivirus. I’ve uninstalled all of these and I’m just running Microsoft Security Essentials along with Spybot Search and Destroy in order to keep my computer virus free. This is a great free antivirus program and it saved me a big headache of having to take it somewhere to get it fixed. Use Microsoft Security Essentials. It’s a great free antivirus software program.
