With the PDFCreator Printer driver you turn any program into a PDF-machine. It offers support for multiple languages and anyone can easily contribute a language to PDFCreator.
Key Features:
- Create PDFs from any program that is able to print
- Security: Encrypt PDFs and protect them from being opened, printed etc
- New: Digitally sign your PDFs to ensure that you are the author and the file has not been modified
- New: Create PDF/A files for long term archives
- Send generated files via eMail
- Create more than just PDFs: PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, EPS
- AutoSave files to folders and filenames based on Tags like Username, Computername, Date, Time etc.
- Merge multiple files into one PDF
- Easy Install: Just say what you want and everything is installed
- Terminal Server: PDFCreator also runs on Terminal Servers without problems
- And the best: PDFCreator is free, even for commercial use! It is Open Source and released under the Terms of the GNU General Public License.
- Supports Windows Vista and Windows 7
This should be considered adware and the
intentionally misleading way to opt out... (Even
if you dont agree to adding Yahoo search to the
toolbar (originally i thought it was an option to
add the toolbar WITH yahoo search), it is STILL
autoselected and enabled during installation
unless you explicitly uncheck it from installing..
Just telling people this is NOT GOOD
ENOUGH)....
This is particularly egregarious behavior for an
OSS app, if one doee not opt for the toolbar, one
should NOT have it try to insert itself in the
install tree and have to manually unselect it AS
WELL
This is an OPEN SOURCE APP.... SHAME ON YOU for
trying to make a profit at the expense of users
privacy AND security.
Shame. I always liked this app.....but like a
relationship with baggage, the baggage has got to
go, or it will permanently be uninstalled never to
be seen again.
If your that desprate for income, at least use a
known "safe" toolbar from one of the major players
with predictable behavior (Google/MSN/etc) and not
some piece of obscure spyware that redirects your
serches through itself
(this is the toolbars post-uninstall link)

I love PDFCreator. I've been using it for less
than a year now, but can say that it's met my
expectations and more. And it's open-source!
The only question I have to resolve is whether
PDFCreator can stop putting in
datetime/fileinfo/websiteinfo/etc as headers and
footers by default.

It's a good program, but then again one can easily opt for OpenOffice, which produces (in my humble, unexpert opinion) fine PDF files, with bookmarks and all.
By the way, guys, how about a Pro PDF suite for FREE?! Download both versions, install version 4, save its Registry keys, delete all v4 files and then install version 6. Voilà! Works fine for me!
